SQL SERVER DATABASE DEVELOPER

Responsibilities:

• Implement solutions within existing SQL SERVER 2008 and 2005 databases
• Troubleshoot existing database processes
• Analyze large data sets for importation and exportation
• Analyze and improve performance of existing processes
• Makes suggestions to improve database standards and best practices
• Perform bulk insert and update requests for internal and external customers
• Perform ad-hoc queries for reporting and data mining

Requirements:

• Experienced with:
  • SQL Server 2005 and 2008
  • SQL Server Integration Services
  • Data Modeling
  • Interactions between web applications and databases
  • Object Oriented programming languages(C# Preferred)
  • Importing and Exporting data in various formats
  • Manipulating large text files with regular expressions
• Intermediate to Advanced T-SQL programming skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or related field)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Able to work alone or in groups
• Web programming experience is a plus
